AWANA Children's Ministry

AWANA is held during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  AWANA club is for children ages 4 through 5th grade. (During this same time period, JV FOOT  is offered for the Middle School students.)

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed from 2 Timothy 2:15) is a ministry that is filled with life-enriching experiences for young people! Our leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve Him.

Three segments provide start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting! Each has a purpose.

  • GAME TIME Every AWANA Club meeting includes a high-energy Game Time featuring individual and team competition. Game Time unleashes kid's natural energy and enthusiasm. The AWANA Game Circle has universal appeal. Kids everywhere love AWANA games. Everyone participates.

  • HANDBOOK TIME Using achievement-oriented curriculum materials, AWANA emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are rewarded for their achievements as they progress through the handbooks.

  • SONG TIME During this time, clubbers get to praise God with song.

Not only do we have a new school and school year, but a new AWANA year as well! We want to make it extra special and ensure that every child has an opportunity to begin their relationship with Jesus, grow into a community of believers and have some fun in the process! To make that possible,  AWANA vests and books will be FREE this year . Register your kiddos through the Church Center app now and get your FREE materials at the East Information Desk following Sunday Services or during the office hours for the church.
