About King's Kids
King's Kids is a music ministry for children ages 4 through 5th grade. We meet in the sanctuary of the church on Wednesdays during the school year from 6:45-8:15 pm. We learn songs and present 2 musicals each year, with a Christmas theme in December, and another in the spring, usually the first Sunday in May. We also sing for the congregation during Sunday morning worship-2nd service, several times during the year. It can be challenging to keep the kids' attention, especially with a large group, but we learn some fun songs with a heart changing message.
What do we do at King's Kids?
A typical Wednesday night, recently with 70+ attending:

6:45
- Open with prayer
- Learn and practice songs, some with actions
- Talk about the words of the songs, and learn about God
Kids have a chance to share things that they have learned or experienced. - Celebrate birthdays

7:45
- Children's video/DVD with a spiritual message-usually about 30 minutes long

8:15
- Dismissal and treat provided by one of the King's Kids' families.

START-UP DATE: Wednesday, September 10th at 6:45 p.m.
DRESS REHEARSAL: Saturday, December 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
PERFORMANCE DATE: Sunday, December 14th at 7:00 p.m.
